The Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Health Supplies Management Agency, Pharmacist Dauda Teri kwaghe alongside the State Malaria Program Manager, Mr. Benjamin Nahon Gubi, has engaged in strategic discussions on modalities for the effective warehousing and management of over 2.5 million Insecticide-Treated Nets (ITNs) expected to be delivered to the state for the 2026 ITN campaign.
Speaking during the meeting, the Executive Secretary emphasized the agency’s commitment to ensuring adequate storage capacity, strict inventory control, and adherence to best practices in supply chain management. He noted that early planning and coordination are critical to safeguarding the quality of the ITNs and guaranteeing their timely distribution to communities across the state.

In his remarks, the State Malaria Program Manager, Mr. Benjamin Nahon Gubi, highlighted the importance of inter-agency collaboration in achieving a successful campaign. He recalled that a similar exercise was successfully conducted in 2023 with the support of the Global Fund (GF), describing it as a major milestone in the state’s malaria prevention efforts.
Mr. Gubi further disclosed that, following the impressive outcome of the 2023 campaign, the Global Fund has expressed satisfaction with Adamawa State’s capacity to manage large-scale health commodities and has indicated its willingness to sponsor and support the 2026 ITN campaign.
