The Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Health Supplies Management Agency (ADSHSuMA), Pharmacist Dauda Teri Kwaghe, has carried out a supervision visit to the Agency’s Main Warehouse, where additional optimization works supported by the Global Fund are currently ongoing.
The ongoing works include the remodelling of the warehouse floor from epoxy to terrazzo, the covering of the loading bay, and several other improvement activities aimed at enhancing the efficiency, safety, and durability of the facility. These interventions are part of the Global Fund’s continued investment in strengthening the State’s health supply chain infrastructure for effective management of essential medicines and health commodities.
During the inspection, Pharmacist Dauda Kwaghe expressed satisfaction with the quality and progress of the project, commending the Global Fund for its sustained collaboration with the Adamawa State Government in improving healthcare logistics and warehousing systems.
He noted that the optimization works will significantly improve the working environment, facilitate seamless operations, and ensure the proper storage and handling of health commodities in line with international standards.
The Executive Secretary reaffirmed commitment to maintaining transparency, accountability, and operational excellence, adding that the upgraded facility will contribute greatly to the timely and efficient distribution of medical supplies across the State.
The supervision exercise was attended by key management staff of ADSHSuMA and representatives of the implementing partners handling the project.
